The thread was 547 pages long and I did not have the patience to wade through it all. However, it was unclear to me if this was a method to copy recordings to a PC or to a new drive. One has proprietary data needed along with the actual data on the second partition. The caution was to be sure to copy both partitions. On a DVR+ forum, there were a number of postings about using Linux or ext2hd (?) in Window to copy the DVR+ formatted drive. Good luck, and please keep us posted on your results. I wonder if having Macrium then would have solved the problems. I eventually gave up and reset the TiVo with the new disk attached. I ran into trouble with (a) TiVo had some proprietary partition on the disk, and (b) there was a problem with Digital Rights Management for some of the shows and movies that I had already recorded. I had a small TiVo-supplied external extension to my TiVo DVR, and I wanted to replace it with a larger drive. Slightly off the subject (because Macrium was not involved at the time) - I mention this only to warn you that you MIGHT face the same issues.
